Banim, Joseph (Joe), Stillorgan, Co. Dublin (Formerly of Inchicore) and late of CIE. Passed away peacefully in his 91st year on the 15th February 2026 surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of St. Vincent’s Hospital. Predeceased by his brother Eddie and sister Marie.
Joe, dearly beloved husband of Breid, devoted and adored dad of Anne, David and Claire. Much loved grandad of Shaun, Ciara, Barry, Haylee, Jack, Ava, Myah, Callie and loving great grandad of Bodhi, Kai and Bonnie. Joe will be sadly and lovingly missed by his adored family. His wife, Son, Daughters - their partners Emer, Doug and Karl. Grandchildren, Great grandchildren, brother James and his wife Marie, Brother-in-law Declan and his wife Deirdre. Extended family, neighbours and friends.

Joe will repose in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Goatstown, Dublin 14, D14 X348 on Thursday 19th February 2026 from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral mass will be held the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud on Friday 20th at 10am, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill.
