Morris (née Flood), Rita (Templeogue, Dublin). Rita passed away peacefully on 6th February 2026, surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff of St Gabriel’s Ward, Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, and previously the staff of Gogarty Ward, Tallaght Hospital.
Beloved wife of Vincent, cherished mother of Linda and dear sister of the late Olive and Florrie. Rita will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband and daughter, her treasured nieces and nephew Clodagh, Niall, Orlagh, Olga, Ciara and Mandy, her niece and nephew-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, her dedicated carers and wonderful neighbours and friends.
May she Rest in Peace.
A private family Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, 10th February 2026.
Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland in memory of Rita Morris.
