Minihane, Fr. Mark (Séan) O.S.A. (Formerly Lislevane, Barryroe, Cork, England, Scotland, Arizona, and Dublin). Passed away peacefully on the 22nd August 2025 in the tender care of the staff at St. Augustine’s, Ballyboden. Fr. Mark (Seán) is predeceased by his parents, Micháel and Ursula, foster mother Molly Feen, and brothers, Micháel and Donal.
He is deeply mourned by his sisters-in-law Judy and husband Dave, nephew Micháel and his wife Julia and family, his niece Sheila and her husband Vlad and family, Micháel and Lillian McCarthy and kindly cousins, relatives and friends, Dr. Kealy, his nurses and carers here in St. Augustine’s and his Augustinian confreres.

Marks remains will repose at St. Augustine’s, Taylors Lane, Ballyboden, Dublin 16. Those who wish to pay their respects are welcome between 1.30pm - 3pm Monday, 25th August, ending with evening prayer. Mark’s (Seán) remains will travel from Dublin to Augustinian Church, Washington Street, Cork on Monday evening arriving at 6pm. His Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday 26th August at 11am followed by burial in his family plot in Lislevane Cemetery.
