Shanley, Gary (Gar) - late of Finglas East, Dublin 11. Passed away peacefully on 16th June 2025, after a courageous battle bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff in St. Vincent's Ward, Mater Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved parents Dick and Lily.
Gary will be deeply missed and forever loved by his heartbroken wife Lisa, daughter Sophie, son Dylan, sisters Lorraine and Denise, brother Richard, sister-in-law Rosaleen, brothers-in-law Sean, Ken, William, Karl and Billy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends, especially Bob, Richie and Niall (Silo).
Through every challenge, Gary showed Immense Strength, Resilience, Quiet Dignity and Unwavering Love, May His Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace.
Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Main Street, Finglas, D11 ET7P, on Thursday 19th June, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning to St. Canice’s Church, Finglas Village, arriving at 9.50am for Requiem Mass at 10am, with Cremation Service thereafter in Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel at 12:30pm.
