Beloved wife and best friend of Christopher Hone, and devoted mother to Timothy. Deeply regretted by Christopher, Timothy and his daughter in law Sarah, her brothers Gerard, Vincent and Raymond, her sisters Caroline, Florence and Clare, nephews and nieces, extended family, neighbours, and her many friends and colleagues around the world.
Mary dedicated her life to helping others through her work in international development and will be remembered for her kindness, wisdom, generosity and warmth, as well as for her love of travel, gardening and family.
May she Rest in Peace.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Saturday, 9th May, at 10am in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, followed by cremation.
Donations, if desired, to GOAL, an organisation close to Mary’s heart.
