Padraic Joyce, Emeritus Professor of Forestry, late of Blackrock, Co. Dublin, and formerly of Inis Mór, Aran Islands, Co. Galway. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 2nd July 2025, surrounded by his loving family under the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
Fondly remembered and deeply missed by his beloved wife Phyllis, daughter Barbara, sons Redmond and Ronan, daughters-in-law Yvonne and Chan, grandchildren Niall, Ciara, Conor, and Brendan, as well as his nieces, nephews, neighbours, colleagues, and many dear friends.
May his kind soul Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock (A94 X308) on Friday, 4th July, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday, 5th July, at 10am in St. John the Baptist Church, Blackrock, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Stroke department at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
