Cantwell, Michael, (Mick) – late of Finglas South, formerly Finglas East and St. Margaret’s, Dublin 11. Passed away peacefully 16th May 2026, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff in the Mater Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Molly, brothers Harry and Paul, sister Mary and granddaughter Katie.
Mick will be very sadly missed and remembered always by his beloved wife Brigid, daughters Michelle, Yvonne, Fiona and Susan, sons John, Dáithi and Paul, grandchildren Seán, Siobhan, Padraig, Niamh, Emma, Holly, Rachael, Cian, Cillian, Freya, Finn and Lennon, great- grandson Tadhg, brother Pat, sister Bernadette, brothers and sisters-in-law, sons and daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a huge circle of friends and musicians.
May Mick’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Massey Bros, Funeral Home, Main Street, Finglas, D11 ET7P on Wednesday, 20th May 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Oliver Plunkett, Rivermount, Finglas South, D11 Y4XF arriving for requiem Mass at 10am, followed by Cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.
