McGowan (née Donnelly), Rita (Late of Galtymore Road, Drimnagh, Dublin 12), 1st June 2026, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in St. Catherine’s Ward, Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Predeceased by her loving husband and best friend Patrick (Paddy), her adored son Robert (Bob), and daughter Audrey.
Rita will be sadly missed by her heartbroken daughter Lorraine, son-in-law Rickey, grandchildren Derek, Ian, Sinead, Paul, Alan and Daniel, Ian’s partner Leanne, and her great-grandchildren Keith, Eva, Kayla, Abbie, Jayden, Layton, and Kyran. She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Sally, brother-in-law Bobby, cousin Frank, nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful friends and neighbours.
May she Rest in Peace.
Reposing at the Massey Bros. Funeral Home, The Haven, 177 Crumlin Road, D12 F864 on Thursday (June 4th) from 5pm to 7pm and at home on Friday (June 5th) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10am in Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Mourne Road followed by burial to Newlands Cross Cemetery.
The family want to acknowledge all the care, love and support they received from family, friends and all the carers in Comfort Keepers.
