Joan Kennedy (née Tighe), Foxrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Sandymount, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 13th 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her siblings, Ann, Eugene, Alec, and Carmel.
Joan was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her beloved husband Seán, her children, Elaine, Johnny and Andrea, her adored grandchildren, Meghan, Ines, Ava, James and Seán, her daughter-in-law Isobel, her son-in-law Shane, Meghan’s husband Jonny, her sisters Pauline and Yvonne, her brother Willy, sisters-in-law and brothers-in law, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Joan will be dearly missed by her family and many great friends.

Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock, A94 X308 on Wednesday, 17th June from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, D18 N2F7 on Thursday, 18th June arriving at 9.40am for reception at 9.45am. Words of Appreciation will be given by the family prior to commencement of the Funeral mass at 10am, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
