SMITH (née Cronin), Sheila - late of Maynooth, Co. Kildare and formerly of Ballybrack, Doneraile, Co. Cork - passed away peacefully on 3rd January 2026, surrounded by her loving family and caring staff at Ashford House Nursing Home. Predeceased by her parents, her siblings, and her beloved son Dermot.
Sheila will be deeply missed by her devoted husband Seán, children Mary and Michael, her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
May her kind soul Rest in Peace.
Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday, 7th January at 11.00am in John’s Lane Church (St. Augustine & St. John), Thomas Street, followed by burial in Laraghbryan Cemetery, Maynooth, Co. Kildare.
