Barnes (née O’Rourke), (Dublin), January 6th, 2026, peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of all the staff of the Kilmainham Ward, St. James’s Hospital, Marie, late of Emorville Avenue, Dublin 8.
Beloved wife and best friend of Mark and much-loved mother of Mark, Garrett, Keith, Gavin, and Alan. Sadly, missed and always remembered by her loving husband and sons, her sister Rita, daughters-in-law Annemarie, Catherine, Aoife and Hannah, her cherished grandchildren Aoife, Ciara, Conor, Adam, Lia, Hazel, Emma, Ruby and Penny, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, and many friends.

Reposing at the Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 109 The Coombe, D08 AK10 on Friday (January 9th) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday (January 10th) at 12 o’clock in St. Teresa’s Church, Donore Avenue followed by burial to Mount Jerome Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Kilmainham Ward, MISA Unit, St. James’s Hospital.
