Scully, Fr. Brendan OFM (Late of Merchants Quay, Cork, Bray, Galway, Gormanston and Brussels). Fr. Brendan Scully OFM passed away peacefully on 30th August 2025, in the loving care of Nazareth House, Malahide Road, Dublin.
Beloved brother of Moyra McGuinness, predeceased by his siblings Ailish Breen, John, and Frank Scully. Very sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Annie and Collette, brother-in-law Luke, nieces, nephews, extended family, his fellow Franciscans, and many friends.
May Fr. Scully Rest in Peace.
Reposing at the Franciscan Friary, Merchants Quay, Wednesday (September 3rd) from 5.00pm to 6.30pm. Evening Prayer at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday (September 4th) at the Franciscan Friary (Church of the Immaculate Conception - Adam and Eve's) Merchants’ Quay, Dublin at 12noon, followed by burial to Glasnevin Cemetery.
