Greene, (Dublin), September 15th, 2025, peacefully after a short illness in the wonderful care of all the staff of St. James’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, William (Wille) late of St. Audoen’s House, Cook Street and formerly of Primrose Avenue. Son of the late Patrick and Sheila.
Beloved husband of Cathy and much-loved father of Michael. Sadly, missed and forever loved by his loving wife and son, his sisters Patricia, Sylvia and Marie, his mother-in-law Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, work colleagues, and a large circle of friends.
May he Rest in Peace.
Reposing at the Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 141 Thomas Street on Thursday (September 18th) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (September 19th) at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church, Berkeley Road followed by burial to Glasnevin Cemetery (St. Pauls Section).
Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Oncology Ward, St. James’s Hospital.
