Prendergast, Joey - late of Finglas, Dublin 11. Passed away peacefully 22nd April 2026, surrounded by his loving family, in the tender care of the staff in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Predeceased by his beloved parents Joseph and Esther, brothers Paulie, Stephen, Martin, Tony, sister Anna and niece Krystal.
Joey will be very sadly missed and remembered always by his loving partner Esther, son Derek, daughter Linda, grandchildren Ryan, Derek, Cali, Izzy and Aria, great-granddaughter Stori, sisters Colette and Angela, brother John, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
May Joey’s gentle soul Rest in eternal Peace.
Reposing at Derek’s home, D11 F2H0 on Saturday, 25th April from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St. Canice’s Church, Finglas Village, D11 T97T, for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, with Cremation Service thereafter in Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel.
