William (Willie) Ardiff


Ardiff, (Dublin), November 28th, 2025, peacefully after a long illness bravely borne, at The Residence, Citywest, William (Willie) late of McDowell Avenue, Ceannt Fort, Mount Brown.

‍ ‍

Much loved husband of Betty (who died earlier this year) and loving father to Tina, Harry, Caroline, Sharon, Marie, Celine, and Bernadette. Predeceased by his loving brother Shay, his sister Celine, and his brothers in law Sean and Freddy. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Ann, sons-in-law Alex, Kevin, Michael and Robert, his adored grandchildren Adam, Anthony, Colm, Philip, Robert, Colm, Harry, Simon, Claire, Conor, Eoin, Laura, Ally, Elaine, Katie, Jack, Amy, and Alex, great-grandchildren, Alexia, Lucy, Ryan, Alice, Odette, Freddie, Rafe, Georgia, Sonny, Seb, Mathilda, Alistair, Mikey, Zoe and Arthur, sisters Betty, Catherine and Esther, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 141 Thomas Street on Tuesday (December 2nd) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (December 3rd) at 10 am in St. James’ Church, James’ Street followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.
