Mícheál (Michael) Davitt
Davitt, Mícheál (Michael), of Clonskeagh, Co.Dublin. Died (29th March 2023) after a short illness bravely borne at Our Lady’s Hospice and Care Services, Harold’s Cross, Dublin.
Survived by his much loved daughter Saoirse. Predeceased by his Mum Ann (nee Rice) January 1979 and by his step mother Joyce (nee O’Brien) December 2022. Deeply regretted by his loving Dad Conor and siblings Grainne, Roland and Neil, and spouses John Lawless and Tracey Davitt. Mícheál adored and was equally adored by his nieces and nephews, Ailbhe, Lorcan, Cillian, Sean, Rose and Annie. He will be especially missed by his Aunt, Marie Hooper (nee Rice) and also his cousins, in law aunts and uncles, friends and school mates.
Mícheál will be reposing at his family home in Sandymount from (5pm to 7pm) on Friday, March 31st. Requiem Mass on Saturday in St Mary’s, Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount at 11am (April 1st) followed by a cremation service in the Garden Chapel at Mount Jerome. LINCOLN Georges Dr., (Stillorgan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Mauritius) 29th March, 2023 peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Devoted father to Paul, David, Gareth and Anthony, loving grandad to Ross, Joelle, Marc, Nicholas and Brian, and adored great grandad to Sophia, James and Frankie. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marie. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, brother Vivian, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Tracey and Angela, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and friends in Ireland and Mauritius.
