LYNSKEY, Dermod (Dublin) – April 24th, 2025, peacefully at home. Late of Ardagh Road, Crumlin, esteemed actor for eight decades, former President of Donore Harriers Athletic Club, member of Bohemians Musical Society, Engineering Department Guinness, and Craddockstown Golf Club.
Beloved son of the late William and Matilda, and dearly loved brother of Margaret (Maimie), John, and the late Albert and Anne. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Dominick. Sadly missed and always remembered by his sister-in-law Claire, nephews Garrett and Paul, and his wife Tamara, niece Mary, and her husband Colin. Also, fondly missed by his great-nephews Sam and Dara and great-nieces Kiara, Hannah, and Kristen, and his extensive circle of friends.

Sue Uda (Margaret Susan Uda, née Shanks)
Sue Uda (Margaret Susan Uda, née Shanks), 10th September 1950 – 17th April 2025. Sue passed away peacefully after a long illness, on 17th April 2025, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. Predeceased by her former husband Giampiero.
Sue is deeply mourned by her beloved son David, daughter-in-law Sophie, treasured grandchildren Ollie and Daisy, and her much-loved dogs Teddy and Willow. She will also be greatly missed by her extended family, cousins, friends, and the devoted team at her business, A Touch of Ireland, all of whom loved her dearly.
A private funeral will take place today, Tuesday 22nd April. A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at Trinity College Dublin (The Dining Hall), Monday 12th May at 2pm. All are welcome.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to all those who cared for Sue throughout her illness, especially the compassionate team at Bluebird and the ICU staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, whose support in her final days meant so much

Dr. James Clinch
Clinch, Dr. James, Dundrum, Dublin 14 (formerly of the Coombe and St. James’s Hospitals), after a long life dedicated to patients, family and sport. He passed away on 19th April (his 65th wedding anniversary) listening to a Leinster rugby match. He was, and the family are, greatly appreciative of the wonderful staff of the Fern Dean Stepaside and his home care team.
James will be sadly missed by his wife of 65 years, Wendy, his sons Paul, Mark and Peter, daughter Jane, daughter-in-law Jill, grandchildren Kat, Dan, Harvey, Shauna, Doug, Conor and Charlie, siblings Anne (Lemass), Andrew, Mary, Paddy (McNeish), the late Margaret (Brewer), and a wide circle of family and friends including at Portmarnock, Fitzwilliam and Trinity clubs.

Alice, wife and best friend of Jimmy (RIP), adored mother of Paula, Gerard, Donal, Shiela, Rory, Brian, Oonagh, Hilary. Loving grandmother to her 26 grandchildren and her 14 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her sister Bridie her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. Also predeceased by her five stepbrothers.

Michael Sheridan, late of Monkstown, Co. Dublin and formerly Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim. Passed away peacefully in Blackrock Hospice on the 18th of April 2025. Predeceased by his wife Kay in 2013 and his four sisters Kathleen, Mary, Helen and Agnes.
Michael, beloved father of Deirdre Doyle and Barry Sheridan, and very dear friend of Bridget Kirby, will be cherished by his brother Padraig and his four granddaughters Katie, Sinead, Alisa and Taisia, also missed very much by his daughter-in-law Marianna and son-in-law Rodney.
