Beloved husband of the late Mai and much-loved dad to Caroline, Ian, Barry and Niamh. Niall will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving children, son-in-law Martin, daughters-in-law Ann Margaret and Loli, his sisters Nuala and Rita, grandchildren Channah, Aideen, Sam, Gavin, Dylan, Ellie, Luna and Pablo, great-grandchildren Ava and Saoirse, brother-in-law Barry, sister-in-law Sadie, nieces and nephews, with special thanks to Joanne who helped care for Niall, and his wonderful neighbours and friends.

Phair, Bernard (Barney) – 23rd June 2025, (Dublin and formerly of New York City). Peacefully, in hospital in Dublin after a long period of ill health, aged 84 years. Predeceased by his beloved sister Antoinette.

 

Founder and creative force behind The Icon Factory and The Icon Walk, Barney was passionate about making art accessible and nurturing young talent.

 

Sadly missed by his sons Ben, Rory and Patrick, daughter-in-law Erin, adored granddaughters Nora and Julia, siblings Mary, John and Joe, nieces, nephews, extended family, many friends, and by Aga Szot and his comrades at The Icon Walk.
