Patrick Collins

Collins, Patrick, late of St. Teresa’s Road and formerly of O’Carolan Road. Peacefully on 30th November 2025 after an arduous 3-year illness.

Our lives are shattered by his loss. A beautiful soul who loved his boys more than life itself. The most loving and proud father to his sons. He was always the first in with a hug, was a voice of reason or had a giddy reply. Profoundly missed by his wife Gennie and his sons Daniel and Harry. Predeceased by his father Paddy and sister Jennie. Beloved son of Patsy, intensely missed by his sisters Deb and Liz, brothers-in-law Damien and Gary, nieces and nephews Luke, Sarah, Tadgh, and Claudia, mother-in-Law Mary, sister-in-law and partner Andrea and Ken, brother-in law and family Simon, Linda, Alex, and James. Extended family of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and not forgetting his fierce friends who stayed by his side and turned up during these last hard years. You lifted his spirits so much.

Who’s to say where the wind will take you?

Who’s to say what it is will break you?

I don’t know where the wind will blow

Who’s to know when the time’s come around

Don’t want to see you cry

I know this is not goodbye
