Gerry (Ollie) Higgins, Blackrock, Co. Dublin. February 9th 2026.Passed away peacefully surrounded by his large and loving family, looked after by a marvellously dedicated team in the Nightingale Ward of Blackrock Clinic.

Pre-deceased by his wife Margaret in 2012, Gerry looked after himself independently until October 2024 thereafter supported at home, to the end by his family and his carer. Despite his dementia, Gerry never lost his personality, ever the man with a quick quip!

Gerry rejoiced in his family and his family rejoiced in Gerry. He will be sadly missed by his children Killian, Francis, Zita, Sylvia (Monségur, France), Bryanna (Ferns, Co. Wexford), Victor (Boise, USA), Niall (Atlanta, USA), Adrian (Atlanta, USA) and Quintin (Ballymacoda, Co.
