Lyons (nee Davitt), Maeve. Peacefully on the 13th of February 2026 in the excellent care of the staff at Four Ferns Nursing Home, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Ray and infant son Paul Raymond.
Adored mother of Emer, Fiona, Rowan and Renaith and beloved sister of Mary-Paula, Robert, Grainne, Emer, Patrick and Mairead. Very sadly missed by her devoted grandchildren Maxime, Fay-Orion, Ossian, Naomi, Phoenix, Cian, Ruairí, Ciarán, Matthew, Max and Freya, sons-in-law Ahmed and Gavin and daughter-in-law Jacquie, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Maureen Smyth (née Price)
Maureen Smyth (née Price) – Late of Sandymount, Dublin 4. On 12th February 2026, peacefully at Mount Tabor Nursing Home, with her loving family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Liam, her daughter Eve, her brother Peter, and her sister Rita.
She will be loved and missed every day by her devoted daughters Tamara and Jeanne, her sons-in-law Michael and Colm, her sisters Patricia, Phyllis, and Rosaleen, her grandchildren Mark, Laura, Sara, Daniel and Grace, her great-grandchildren Timmy and Lennon, her extended family, friends, and the exceptional staff at Mount Tabor.

Beloved husband of Mary, devoted and adored father of Denise, Donal and Barbara, and much-loved grandfather of his precious grandsons Conan, Paddy, Billy, Ted and Charlie. Gerry (Ollie) Higgins
Gerry (Ollie) Higgins, Blackrock, Co. Dublin. February 9th 2026.Passed away peacefully surrounded by his large and loving family, looked after by a marvellously dedicated team in the Nightingale Ward of Blackrock Clinic.
Pre-deceased by his wife Margaret in 2012, Gerry looked after himself independently until October 2024 thereafter supported at home, to the end by his family and his carer. Despite his dementia, Gerry never lost his personality, ever the man with a quick quip!
Gerry rejoiced in his family and his family rejoiced in Gerry. He will be sadly missed by his children Killian, Francis, Zita, Sylvia (Monségur, France), Bryanna (Ferns, Co. Wexford), Victor (Boise, USA), Niall (Atlanta, USA), Adrian (Atlanta, USA) and Quintin (Ballymacoda, Co. Cork), his nephew, Conor (Skibereen) his grandchildren Bryan, Dawn, Sorcha, Rebecca, Nicole, Aphria, Amber, Jack, Eoin, Brian, Deirdre, Orla, Hailey, Kelly, Hannah, Joseph, Conall, Killian, Aoife, Darragh and great grand children Caoimhe, Áine, Oscar, Luca, Beau, Kaiden, Teagan; and daughters and sons in law Marie-Therése, Linda, Denis, Fred, John, Bonnie, Cari, Lorena and Carrie.
Gerry will also be missed by his wonderful carer and best friend, Sílvia Cristina Pereira.
