Nicholas “Nicky” Scallan, Firhouse, Dublin 24 and formerly of Upper Main Street, Arklow, Co. Wicklow passed away peacefully on 2nd January 2026.
Beloved husband of Concepta, and son of Nicholas and Elizabeth, deeply missed by his sons Nicholas and Ciarán, and his daughter Orlaith, daughters-in-law Fiona and Louise and son-in-law, Paul, his grandchildren Iseult, Fiachra, Ciara, Joshua, Cillian, Amelia, Nicholas and Anastasia Rose. Dearly loved brother of Mary, Kathleen, Eamonn, Bridie, Seamus, Carmel, the late Elizabeth, Laurence (Lar), Winifred, Ann, Billy and Angela, his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Nicky will lie in repose in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue Road, Dublin, D6W AC82 on Wednesday 7th January from 5pm to 7pm (Prayer Service from 6.30pm). Funeral Mass on Thursday 8th January at 10am in Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Ballycullen Ave., Firhouse, D24 N5WC, followed by burial at Kilternan Cemetery Park, D18 X22C.
