Geraldine (Geri) O’Rourke (née Mitchell), 26th February 2026 - late of Templeogue, Dublin 6W and formerly of Rahan, Co. Offaly, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving daughters and in the exceptional care of the wonderful staff at Oakwood Lodge Nursing Home.
Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Patrick, Geri will be joyfully reunited with him once more. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers Una, Ken, Niall and Eric, and sadly by her grandson Luís.
A devoted and much-loved mother to Patricia, Anne-Marie, Úna and Shelagh, Geri will be sadly missed and forever cherished by her daughters, sons-in-law Rodney and Paul, her treasured grandchildren Jeffrey, Álvaro, Alannah and Shane, her loving siblings Violet, Ruth, Ruby, Sheila, Louise, Bobby and Dilys, sister-in-law Sr. Brenda, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.
May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home Templeogue Village, D6W AC82 on Sunday 1st March from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (3rd March) to Pius X Church, arriving for 10am Requiem Mass, followed by burial at Mt. Venus Cemetery.

Geri will be remembered for her bright smile, her boundless warmth and the colourful spark she brought to every room. In keeping with her creativity, the family kindly request that those attending wear something colourful in her memory.
